White Stove Rope Seal and Glue Kit contains a two-metre glass fibre rope, glue, and protective gloves. Choose the available diameter variant for the specific door. The length of the kit must be compared with the entire groove path and the required end connection.
The gloves from the kit do not provide a basis for claiming any protection when working with hot parts. Plan assembly on a cooled device. Prepare the tools and the residue removal method specified for the given part.
Assess the entire perimeter, not just the corner
Check for signs of wear, loose sections, and local lack of compression. Also inspect the hinges, frame, and lock. If the glue has detached in one place, first assess the condition of the groove; repeating the repair without preparation may leave the original cause.
Vitcas rope adhesive has described requirements for the substrate, application, and curing. During a full replacement, maintain the intended path without accidental stretching. The end of the material should remain in the location specified for the doors.
Separate other seals
Flat glass tape has a different format and its own applications, including for compatible glazing elements. A set with rope is not automatically a substitute for every material at the glass. Recognize both locations separately.
After the required preparation, check the closure without forcing the handle. Record the rope variant, length, and adhesive. The next inspection will refer to specific installation, which will facilitate the decision on a minor adjustment or a complete replacement of the entire perimeter.
